District Sports players are doing great things on and off the pitch.
We’re happy to report that 75 of our returning teams chose to receive the Charity Jersey Pack this Spring, a set of alternate jerseys coupled with a donation to a charity impacting local youth.
In honor of these 75 teams, we’re proud to donate $5000 to DC SCORES and the community of elementary and middle school students they serve through soccer and poetry programming.
But that’s not where the giving stops.
During Spring registration, individual players also directly donated $1000 to Street Child United in support of the team of at-risk D.C. teens traveling to the Street Child World Cup in Moscow this summer.
