District Sports is pleased to parter with Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant to put on the District’s first ever Supporter’s Club Champions Leagues. Man City’s DC Blues, DC Spurs, DC Gunners, DC Red Devils and Liverpool DC are already in. Are you associated with a local supporter’s group? If so, let us know. Below are event details. 2019 Elephant & Castle Supporter’s Club Champions League powered by District Sports!
- Registration Fee: $500 per team. All fees collected to be donated to DC SCORES.
- Matches to be played at Columbia Heights Education Campus (Bell) on Thursday 5/23, Wednesday 5/29 and Thursday 6/5.
- 7v7 format. Games to be played 7PM to 1030PM each match night.
- Each team should expect to play 4, 40 minute matches over the two match days. Top two teams from each group will advance to a playoff round.
- Tournament Draw Party: 5/15 at Elephant & Castle – 1201 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Plan on coming out in force!
- Show off your club’s colors in your teams jersey!
- Coed Friendly. Players of any gender are welcome and encouraged but there are no required on-field minimums.
- Roster may be of any size. Players who did not play in group play are not eligible to play in playoffs.
- Great Post-game bar specials after matches.
- Tournament winners will receive free entry into the 2019 DC SCORES Cup on June 22nd!
