If you’re looking for a great place to grab some food or a drink before a DC United game at brand new Audi Field, look no further than right along the river at All Purpose Pizzeria. Serving up Deck-Oven Pizza and antipasti, along with other classic appetizers, this is a perfect place to head before a big game. For months All Purpose has been hosting Nationals fans before games, and now that games at Audi Field are in full swing, it’s a perfect place for United fans too.
Owner Gareth Croke said that he expects a “fun, exciting atmosphere” and mentions “the first games we’ve had a great crowd of both DC Scores and District Sports (members) and some Screaming Eagles folks and it’s been great.”
All Purpose serves wine, cocktails, and local and regional drafts, in addition to an absolutely stunning view. The restaurant has a rooftop patio that gives fans one of the best views in the area.
During the DC United season, All Purpose Pizzeria is donating $1 to District Sports community partner DC Scores for every glass of Full Count Lager DC Brau, and $3 for every pitcher purchased of that same brew.
All Purpose is also a great place for families so feel free to bring the little ones who are also ready to cheer on the DC United. They have a great atmosphere and a wide array of pizzas. Make sure to try the Buona, a mozzarella and pepperoni pie with a Calabrian chili honey glaze on top.
